Technology Development

In additional to the imported technologies, SGT has input significant amount of resources on self-developing technologies. In 1998 SGT corporate with a Tertiary Academy Institute to establish our country's first Architectural Glass and Curtain Wall Research and Development Centre. This development centre had performed numbers of researches in varies glass façade systems such as point supported glass system and double-skin façade system. These researches included testing and analysis of glass structural behavior, thermal energy conversation performance and vary metal structural behavior in different kind of curtain wall systems. SGT achieved encouraging results in all these system researches and these new technologies and standards developed have been widely applied in China building industrial especially in double-skin façade system.

SGT will be constantly focusing on the development of new technology for special glass processing and curtain wall system, striving to be an influential specialist company in the world. Currently, SGT has been very active in global curtain wall market. Its glass products and curtain wall system have been exported to many regions like Southeast Asia, Europe, America and Australia for numbers of prestigious construction projects.
